Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH), chemicals and dangerous goods must be handled and stored in a way that minimises the risks and limits people’s exposure. Here at JJX Logistics, we assess the risks of having such goods on-site, including the possibility of spills and leakages which could cause damage to staff health, other products and the environment. Spill kits are located around the warehouse along with ADR kits in our vehicles.

The entirety of our 175,000 sq ft site has full 100% CCTV coverage which is monitored constantly and recorded. Every door requires authorised ID badges and all visitors are accompanied while on the premises with several areas also off limits to them. Outside of office hours we have guarded patrols taking place across our entire site with everyone requiring visible ID badges and hi-vis jackets and all this is after you make it through the manned entry gate. Our FSR qualified security team work constantly with the latest TAPA and HMRC recommendations to keep our physical and digital security as strong as possible.
Bonded Storage
With a constantly growing demand for our European operations, we gained Customs Bonded approval from HMRC for a large portion of our warehouse back in 2022. Storing your goods here allows them to be imported into the UK and held a secure site without having having to pay the import duties and taxes on the goods until each of them enters into free circulation. Towards the end of 2023 shortly after joining the Bonded Warehousekeepers Association, we also gained Excise Bonded approval on our West Midlands site.
Our bonded warehouse also allows customers to store their goods without immediate customs clearance, further reducing upfront costs and providing greater flexibility in managing your inventory. This is particularly advantageous for companies engaged in international trade as it eases cash flow and streamlines the supply chain process.
